Goals for THE ARCANIST in 2021:
  • Write 2,000 words/week (minimum)
  • Reach 100,000 words by the end of the year OR a complete first draft (projected 150k)
  • Track progress with WINTERS diary

January goals:
  • 8,000 words by end of month
  • Finish reading Nelly Hanna, Ottoman Egypt and the Emergence of the Modern World, 1500-1800
  • Read Edward Said, Orientalism
  • Start exercises in Save the Cat! Writes a Novel
